Doctor Who. 3:30 AM, more or less. Brush pen practice. Copic Marker. Brown paper.
DOCTOR WHO - Matt Smith is amazing as the 11th Doctor! This is currently one of my many obsessions. This is my first attempt at The Doctor. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
Holiday card I made this season. I saw other versions around and I thought, ‘I could do this!’
I just sent a few out because I only made a few. Maybe next year, I will try again, maybe.
ROBOTS, MUTANTS, AND A FEW OTHER THINGS - Here is the cover of my 2011 sketchbook. I have a few sketchbooks left over from this year’s convention season. Twenty-eight pages of super nerdy goodness! Let me know if you want this in your life!
Richards possesses a mastery of mechanical, aerospace and electrical engineering, chemistry, all levels of physics, and human and alien biology. According to BusinessWeek, Mr. Fantastic is listed as one of the top ten most intelligent fictional characters in American comics.[1] He is the inventor of the spacecraft which was bombarded by cosmic radiation on its maiden voyage, granting the Fantastic Four their powers. Richards gained the ability to stretch his body into any shape he desires. Richards acts as the leader and father figure of the Fantastic Four, although in recent years he has increasingly been portrayed as being cold and distant towards his teammates due to his scientific, methodical nature. This is particularly true with his best friend, the Thing, who partially blames Richards for his transformation into a large, rocky creature. Whenever Richards is confronted with a challenge, his attention can be so focused that he can neglect even his own family. Regardless, he is the loving husband of Susan Storm, father of son Franklin Richards and daughter Valeria Richards, and mentor of his brother-in-law, the Human Torch.
Tusken Raiders, less formally referred to as Sand People or simply as Tuskens, were a culture of nomadic, primitive sentients indigenous to Tatooine, where they were often hostile to local settlers.
Captain K’nuckles is not very active and prefers to spend his time in Bubbie’s mouth or eating candy at the Candy Barrel (despite him and Flapjack not having enough money or any money at all, and will risk a lot to get ‘free eats’). He usually likes to tell stories of his many adventures to Flapjack, and, because of this, the young boy fails to see K’nuckles as the inactive good-for-nothing that he is.
BLUE BEETLE, TED KORD - Growing up, Ted was extraordinarily bright. He was good at science, business, and everything else he tried. In college, he received degrees in Physics, English Lit, and Theoretical Mathematics. He considered joining his father’s business, Kord Omniversal Research and Development, Inc, of Chicago, but overall, he had no real direction. When Ted’s uncle made an attempt to take over the world, Ted set out to stop him, recruiting the help of his archaeology teacher Dan Garrett - the first Blue Beetle, who could call on superhuman powers from an ancient scarab he had found in Bialya. In the course of the adventure, Dan was fatally wounded and asked Ted to carry on the legacy of the Blue Beetle, passing the scarab onto him. However, Ted couldn’t get the scarab to work for him, and eventually set it aside, electing to go ahead without it. Ted trained himself to his physical peak, constructed an aerial vehicle affectionately nicknamed the “Bug”, made himself a Blue Beetle costume, and set out to establish his own identity as a superhero, using his wit, agility, and a large number of gadgets to stop evildoers.
